Using flash cards is a good way to revise. The idea is that the question is on one side and the answer on the other so you can test yourself. Jmemorize is a clever Java program for doing this electronically.

One advantage of using electronic flash cards is that it is easier to track progress and scores as all of this is done automatically.

Jmemorize does not come with any flash card sets ready to use. In fairness the range of topics it could be used with is so broad.

There are some samples that can be downloaded from the Lessons page on the Jmemorize Wiki. Jmemorize has it's own file format but it can import .csv files

As a Java program, this software will work on Windows, Mac and Linux. Simply double-click on the .jar file to start the program. This also makes it suitable for carrying around on a USB key.
