Coda backs up on-demand offering with new hires

Coda's on-demand systems to receive support from dedicated sales and marketing team

Written by Nicholas Neveling

Coda, the finance software group, has decided to appoint a dedicated sales and marketing team to support its push into on-demand software.

Coda 2go is the company's new software-as-a-service offering and providing it with full sales and marketing back-up, Coda has signalled its intention to make a concerted push into the on-demand market.

David Turner, Coda's group marketing director said: 'CODA 2go will further extend our wide choice of supported technology platforms and allow us to address an even broader range of organisations. We can see huge potential for this type of software delivery in the future.'

The first CODA 2go product will be launched at salesforce.com’s Dreamforce Europe user conference in London in May, just seven months after the partnership between the two groups was unveiled.

The first release will be built on Force.com, salesforce.com’s Platform-as-a-Service, and will target end-to-end sales invoicing process.
