Dave Bailey

Dave Bailey is reviews editor for Computing and vnunet.com, and is the first point of contact for all in-depth reviews of software and hardware across both brands. Dave has worked in this role since August 2008. Previously he worked for IT Week, which he joined in April 2000 as a labs analyst, most recently in the role of network editor. Before moving into technology journalism, Dave spent five years in biochemistry research at University College London, specialising in prion diseases such as BSE, CJD and Alzheimers. He has a BSc in applied chemistry from Huddersfield Polytechnic, an MSc in IT from Leicester Polytechnic and a doctorate in X-ray crystallography from Birkbeck College.
