Vodafone changes payment plans to reflect growing data use

Vodafone is bundling internet access as standard with its monthly contracts

IT Week staff, IT Week 01 May 2008

Vodafone has changed some of its monthly pricing plans, recognising an increased need for data from its users.

Traditionally Vodafone customers are expected to pay £7.50 a month for additional internet access, but from now the charge, and data use will be included in monthly tariffs as standard.

“Vodafone customers [now] have the confidence to browse for as long as they need with no extra costs,“ said Ian Shepherd, director of consumer for Vodafone UK.

Price plans start at £25.
