Only 50 per cent of UK businesses are including data recovery in their compliance policies, according to new research.
A survey of IT managers found that 78 per cent of respondents regard data recovery as the most important part of company policy, yet only 50 per cent are implementing this strategy.
And 46 per cent of those surveyed said they were unsure if their company even had a general policy to comply with the applicable regulations.
Kroll Ontrack spoke to 100 IT managers and specialists, based around the UK.
