We examine the merits of WiMax and its benefits relative to other wireless
technologies in our latest video
The attention devoted to WiMax has not been welcomed by all telecoms
providers. They argue that it disrupts their cosy world of smooth upgrade paths
building on existing 3G technologies.

speeds are required to support next generation applications, and that the telcos
are dragging their feet.
In this video from Computing partner Netevents TV, we examine who is
right now that real-world deployments of WiMax are starting to roll out. Who
will win? Or will it be the usual, "everyone wins" compromise?
