AEP unveils Medallion programme

Vendor woos VARs with channel programme

Written by sara yirrell

Network Access Control vendor AEP Networks has unveiled a channel programme and is launching a partner recruitment drive across EMEA.

The three-tiered AEP Medallion Programme has been introduced to simplify the sales process for its channel partners following a string of acquisitions.

Speaking to CRN, Paul Vick, vice-president of global channel sales at AEP Networks, said: “We are consolidating multiple programmes following recent acquisitions. We are also offering free accreditation training and enhanced pre- and post-sales support to higher-level partners.

“We have partners that have been working with us on an ad hoc basis for many years. Joining the programme allows them to have a more formalised relationship with us.”

Vick said the firm currently has 15 active partners in the UK and is looking to effectively double that number in 2007. It also works through distributors e92plus and Noxs in the UK.

Mukesh Gupta, managing director of e92plus, said: “We are recruiting partners for AEP. The development of the unified partner programme is most welcome because it makes it a lot easier to get AEP’s message out.”
