Hosted customer relationship management (CRM) firm Salesforce.com will this week reveal progress in making its Multiforce environment home to third-party web apps.

At the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, the firm will showcase systems from several IT vendors that slot into its hosted software.
Among these vendors, Xactly will unveil Incent software, a system to help firms reward sales executives, which will be available from Salesforce pages. And Convoq will debut SellASAP tools to help sales staff detect customers, prospects and colleagues online.
