PeopleSoft and JD Edwards satisfaction is increasing

An Oracle user group survey has revealed high levels of customer satisfaction with Peoplesoft and JD Edwards

Written by Rosalie Marshall

The results of the Oracle User Group (UKOUG) survey has shown that user satisfaction of PeopleSoft and JD Edwards has increased since the results of the 2006 survey.

The survey questioned over 600 Oracle users from the 9,000 member Oracle user community. The results show that 10 per cent more users were classed as happy with the overall functioning of 15 JD Edwards modules than in 2006. While 65 per cent of respondents were happy with PeopleTools, which was rated as Oracle’s most popular PeopleSoft product.

The survey also showed that 81 per cent of users are happy with Oracle Server, and 49 per cent of users are happy with Oracle BI features and functions.

However Oracle Support has not been as good as last year, according to users, and dissatisfaction with global support desks has increased by 10 per cent. The percentage of people classed as ‘unhappy’ using the Oracle Account Team has also increased to 14 per cent.

Looking forward, seven per cent of users have raised the need for a more local support system.

Oracle’s Ian Smith said “We have worked hard alongside the UKOUG to address the needs of our customers and we are delighted to see we are making good progress. That said we know we still have work to do and we are looking forward to hearing from attendees at the UKOUG conference this year to understand how we can continue to add value for our customers.”

The Oracle UKOUG conference will last from December 3rd to December 6th at the Birmingham International Convention Centre.
