Mobile working promises to dramatically increase productivity, but European managers and IT departments are dragging their feet

Written by Robert Jaques

Mobile working fuels enterprise productivity boom

Enterprises are increasingly waking up to the very substantial commercial gains that could be achieved by rolling out mobile working programmes.

By allowing staff to make the most of time spent out of the office with mobile access to email and mission-critical back-office systems, firms are finding that productivity can be dramatically increased.

However, the European enterprise market is moving towards mobility at a slower pace than anticipated and, according to research, more education from the industry is needed to change the mindset of management and IT departments in Europe.
